We recently sat down with each of them to learn more about their backgrounds and what led them to Papaya, what they hope to accomplish in their roles, and of course their favourite Papaya pieces that they can’t live without. Here’s what they had to say...

Business Development Manager - Trade
I have always loved the Papaya brand and its unique, serene yet inspirational aesthetic, so was excited to discover a role where I could work with a brand that I connected with naturally. I am extremely passionate about design and have been fortunate to have been working in sales roles in the past that enabled me to be inspired daily by beautiful interior spaces.
The Papaya aesthetic evokes a sense of calm and harmony through the use of neutral tones and natural materials that is the essence of the timelessness of every piece.
If you were to ask me to name the one piece that no one should be without it would be the Dawson armchair – the perfect armchair in any room…. to relax and escape the day with your favourite book & glass of pinot.
Papaya is focused on working closely with our trade partners this year. It is an exciting time to join us and share our new and ever extending furniture collections and exciting decor accessories.

I started my journey with Papaya working in retail at our lovely Chadstone store in Melbourne. Just last month I made the move to the head office and joined our wonderful Sydney team. My background has always been customer service and creating strong relationships between companies and their clients.
My role allows me to be part of the style journey from start to finish - the creative process keeps me constantly inspired. Nothing makes me more excited than getting to see a client’s vision come to life, and being right beside them every step of the way.
I am most inspired by the way that Papaya creates such simple yet timeless pieces. I love how the brand doesn’t follow trends – it sets a constant design standard that sits above trends.
My favourite piece? I would have to say our Danda pebbles ...yes, all three. They are unique and epitomise Papaya’s signature simplicity of form coupled with tactile materials.
My goal is to create strong and productive relationships with our clients - I want you to feel comfortable calling on me at any point and know I will take care of all the important details to ensure a stress-free process. I thrive working one-on-one and look forward to working with you.
