Today, under the ownership of Jesper Christiansen and Kenneth Nielsen, Linie Design continues to weave its legacy, upholding the core values in which it was established.
Built on collaborations with esteemed Danish weavers like Vibeke Klint, Kim Naver and Trine Ellitsgaard, Linie Design has upheld the mission of crafting high-quality, Danish-designed rugs. Today, this legacy continues in the latest alliance with renowned designer Helene Blanche and Head of Design, Urd Moll Gundermann. As one of Europe's largest developers of handmade rugs, Linie Design employs skilled artisans and premium materials to create unique handmade rugs, that are exclusively represented by Papaya in Australia and New Zealand. This June, Linie Design expanded its presence in the design world with the inauguration of a new brand showroom in the picturesque Palægade, Copenhagen.
The brand showroom was designed in collaboration with Norm Architects to showcase Linie Design’s captivating creations. Each hand-woven rug finds its place in this beautifully curated space, creating an awe-inspiring ambiance. The space is an exploration of creativity, craftsmanship, and the boundless possibilities of design. Each rug tells a story, not just of the hands that meticulously crafted it, but also of Linie Design’s enduring commitment to excellence, sustainability and innovation in design.
Linie Design’s collections are now being showcased in full-size display booths at Papaya’s showrooms in Camperdown, Sydney, and Richmond, Melbourne.
