If you love simple ideas like us and you’re looking for new listening material, we’ve found just the thing. Just recently launched, this podcast has the simplest of formulas: author Nigel Marsh asks personalities (think pro-surfer Layne Beachley and TV hosts Todd Sampson and Osher Gunsberg) to name their favourite book, film, song, place and possession. Asked in advance of the interview, he then has them explain the reasoning behind each selection, and how they got to these choices. Adhering to this basic format, he hopes to address five different areas of their lives, it’s a way for them to feel a bit more relaxed, after all, these are the only five questions they’ll be asked. Think Desert Island Discs, but more than music. We’re hooked already.
