Holiday Shipping Notice

Due to the larger than usual shipping volumes at this time of year we cannot guarantee deliveries before Christmas for orders placed after Sunday14th December. Please note that the usual shipping time may also be extended or delayed during this time.

Papaya Head Office and Warehouse will close for the new year period on 23.12.14 and is due to reopen on Monday 5th January. Please note there may be delays in our regular shipping times during this period. Our service team will endeavour to answer queries and concerns in the order they are received upon their return.

HOW DO I CONTACT THE MANAGER OF THE E-STORE?

You can contact the e-store manager by emailing him at webmanager@papaya.com.au. He can help you with product enquiries, shipping information, or personal assistance with papaya online. Please include return contact information with your enquiry including, if possible, a daytime contact telephone number.

WHY IS THE WHOLE CATALOGUE NOT AVAILABLE IN THE E-STORE?

We would love to be able to offer our entire catalogue of products online, however due to shipping restrictions, item sizes and fragility, some items are not offered online. We are working hard to add more and more of our products to the e-store over time however, so check back often to see if your favourite item has become available.

As we plan our collections in advance of some seasons you may find items in the catalogue that are due into stock in the near future. To find out the expected time of arrival on those items, or to enquire about having a non-listed item shipped to you, please contact us at estore@papaya.com.au and we will look into your request personally.

Where possible we may recommend a local stockist who can help you with an item.

WHAT IF I CAN'T SEE THE PRICE ON AN ITEM?

Some of our products are grouped together into ranges with variations in size, colour or style available. If a price is not displayed on an item it may mean that alternate items in the range are priced differently. To view the price of a particular item in the range simply make a selection from the options box. The page will refresh to display the selected item's price.

HOW DO I GET GIFT WRAPPING FOR MY ORDER?

Gift wrapping is available as an optional extra for any purchase made at www.papaya.com.au. You need to select and add gift wrapping before going through the checkout. Visit the Gift Wrapping department and add your selected gift wrapping option to your cart. You can adda personal message during the checkout process.

I ONLY SEE A PAYPAL OPTION, HOW DO I PAY BY CREDIT CARD?

We have chosen a secure PayPal payment system for the e-store. The PayPal option gives you the choice of paying via your PayPal account and also by using your Visa or Mastercard.

To use your credit card for a purchase please select the PayPal payment method during the chockout process - a new window will open from PayPal where you can select "Pay using a credit card". Once your details have been Accepted the page will close and return you the Papaya e-store.

WHY DO I HAVE TO GIVE YOU MY PHONE NUMBER?

Having your contact number can be very handy for our team should we need to get in touch regarding your order. It is also a requirment of some of our shipping partners, including Australia Post. In addition, your phone number is often the most efficient way for us to contact you. We understand that some shoppers do not like leaving a phone number, but you can rest assured that your telephone details will never be used for marketing purposes and absolutely never passed on to any third party. 

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST TO DELIVER MY ORDER?

Papaya offers flat-rate shipping anywhere in Australia based upon the weight of your selected items. For a chart explaining how much shipping is likely to cost please visit the Shipping & Returns page.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO ARRIVE?

How long shipping will take depends on where you live. A parcel can take from 7 to 10 days to arrive at your address, however most packages will arrive much sooner than this.

The following is a guide to estimated shipping times in Australia:

East coast capital cities: 5-7 days
Adelaide, Darwin & Perth: 7-10 days
Tasmania: 7-10 days
Regional Centres: 7-10 days
Remote locations:
(Includes mining settlements in remote areas)
7-10 days
Australian Territories:
(Includes Norfolk Island, Christmas Island and the Australian Antarctic Territory) 
9-13 days

These shipping times take into account the time it takes to pick, pack and send the item via eParcel.

HOW WILL MY ORDER BE DELIVERED?

Most e-store orders will be delivered by Australia Post's eParcel service. All items are carefully packed in a Papaya branded shipping box. Large and bulky orders, inlcuding some furniture pieces, will be delivered using one of our trusted national shipping services - in these cases your shipping cost may need to be adjusted however we will always get in touch to confirm any details with you prior to delivery.

CAN I ORDER BY PHONE OR MAIL?

Yes. Our retail stores are more than happy to help you with a phone order. Simply phone our team at Bondi Junction 02 9386 9980 or Mosman 02 8571 7799 to arrange your purchase. Phone orders are sent by standard parcel post and will not have a tracking number unless you request express or registered post delivery.

WHERE DOES PAPAYA DELIVER TO?

Papaya delivers to addresses within Australia and to Australian Territories.

We expect to offer shipping to more international destinations in the very near future. If you're visiting us from outside Australia you can be notified of when we start shipping to your part of the world. Simply use our Contact Us form to let us know where you are and we'll make sure you find out when shipping becomes available.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I'M NOT AT THE DELIVERY ADDRESS WHEN MY ORDER ARRIVES?

In the event that you are not home for delivery eParcel will leave a calling card in your mailbox. This card should be taken to the nominated Post Office marked on the card. You will be required to collect your article within 7 days of the card being left for you.

In the event that a parcel is returned to us unclaimed a further shipping charge may be required by Papaya to re-send the article.

CAN YOU CALL BEFORE DELIVERY?

As the majority of orders are shipped with Australia Post's eParcel service drivers are not able to call prior to delivery. For large and bulky orders including some furniture orders, we utilise a number of national carriers for delivery. In these cases we can sometimes arrange for the driver to let you know when they are 'on approach'. If you need this service please make sure to let us know by putting the rwuest in the 'Special Instructions' box during the checkout process.

WHAT IS PAPAYA'S RETURN POLICY?

We love to know that you're happy, but in cases where you have a problem with an item we ask that you read our Returns Policy before getting in touch with us.
